We are a small church with a big heart, a wide embrace, and a pervasive spirit of generosity. Grounded in worship and outreach, we believe that our best work towards justice and our best praise are inextricably linked. To this end, our choir augments our worship to inspire heart and mind. Seasonal study and book groups encourage lifelong learning. Our Green Team gathers to articulate and mobilize a faith-inspired response to the ecological call of our times. Our Mission Committee follows the promptings of the Spirit to support local and global initiatives of peace, justice, compassion, and beauty.
Specific initiatives and areas of mission and support include: the Addison County CROP Hunger Walk, Friday Night Community Dinners, the HOPE food pantry, Mother’s Without Borders, Habitat for Humanity, Heifer International, Vermont Interfaith Power & Light, Church World Service and the UCC’s wider church missions and offerings, mission trips to build schools in Honduras with “Hands to Honduras,” and volunteer efforts such as hosting “Donuts & Dogs” during Green-Up Day, Chicken Pie Supper, and more.
We are always seeking new ways to serve creation, both near and far. We invite you to add your passions, talents, and dreams for the world!
